Implication for health policy/practice/research/medical education: This article discusses the unintended aspects of sanctions by the US and its allies on the science and activity of the scientists in Iran. Authors explain that the sanctions if imposed against any country even intended or unintended would hurt the scientists and the basis of science and thus it is an unfair action.
